5:45 came earlier then expected. I actually woke up at 5:30am and got out of bed and downstairs for my pre workout energy. 1 cup fat free chocolate milk I have found allows me to train hard in the early morning without feeling nauseaus.
This workout is shorter then an actual G.E.T. F.I.T. session, lasting only 30 minutes.
10 minute warm up of bear crawls, crab crawls, dynamic stretching, and lunges.
15 minute workout of 2 circuits of walking lunges with sandbag in 1 hand and stone in other. Stone overhead press with every opposite leg lunge. Then sandbag clean and press, pullups, and suicides.
5 minute cooldown of simple stretches.
What a simple yet effective workout. Now like I said this is much shorter then a normal session would be, yet the movements with opposite resistance were intense. Today was a good eating day, I even got a new shipment of whey protein from www.proteinfactory.com I havent tried it yet but will let everyone know how it tastes and my opinions on it. It was some of the cheapest whey Ive seen around.
Made a weeks worth of food on the bbq when I got home from work. Some marinaded chicken breasts and hamburgers for my son and I. After that I took my son over to Finch Park, pulling him and my niece in a wagon the 2 miles over there. Father / son time is always a good time.
So here I am sitting on the couch, my wife watching “So You Think You Can Dance?” and am pondering on whether to sleep or browse the internet for a good article on fat loss or nutrition tips. I’m still trying to determine where I can find a good Dreamweaver tutorial. If anyone knows please share the wealth.

Proving the G.E.T. F.I.T. system works!
Welcome to the social community of G.E.T. F.I.T. Jersey. G.E.T. F.I.T. stands for Group Exercise Training For Individual Transformations and is located in Ramsey, New Jersey. If you’ve happened to stumble across this site, then hopefully you are able to consider joining the bootcamp program when it is launched August 1st.
So whats going to happen over the next 30 days? Basically I am going to prove to you that the style of training within the G.E.T. F.I.T. program works and can have great results. How? Through 3 weekly sessions on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday that contain training implements resembling the program.
What kinds of training tools are used within these Jersey bootcamps? Sandbags, stones, bands, sleds, and bodyweight training. Stuff you will not see in the gym (well except for bands, though noone really uses them). The movements are designed to create strength you can use in your everyday life.
Finding time to train in todays busy world is tough, I know. I currently work for the USPS and my hours always vary. When I get home, all I want to do is spend time with my family. I have an amazing two year old son who is my inspiration and motivation for everything. When I think about being in good health, I think about being able to run around with him, climbing with him at the park, and taking him hiking/fishing/camping. Currently I havent done any actual exercise in about 5-6 weeks in preparing for this challenge.
I know that many people who will come to my program probably arent exercising regularly. Thats ok. Its also what I wanted to demonstrate here. Now I dont have the power of a motivated group, like when you are actually in the bootcamp yourself. This will definitely take away from the true power that a group training program such as this has, but nonetheless results are results.
So I hope you join me on the road to great shape and erasing any skepticism. Day 1 of exercise starts tomorrow, in about 5 1/2 hours. Good night.
