Proving the G.E.T. F.I.T. system works!

Welcome to the social community of G.E.T. F.I.T. Jersey. G.E.T. F.I.T. stands for Group Exercise Training For Individual Transformations and is located in Ramsey, New Jersey. If you’ve happened to stumble across this site, then hopefully you are able to consider joining the bootcamp program when it is launched August 1st.

So whats going to happen over the next 30 days? Basically I am going to prove to you that the style of training within the G.E.T. F.I.T. program works and can have great results. How? Through 3 weekly sessions on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday that contain training implements resembling the program.

What kinds of training tools are used within these Jersey bootcamps? Sandbags, stones, bands, sleds, and bodyweight training. Stuff you will not see in the gym (well except for bands, though noone really uses them). The movements are designed to create strength you can use in your everyday life.

Finding time to train in todays busy world is tough, I know. I currently work for the USPS and my hours always vary. When I get home, all I want to do is spend time with my family. I have an amazing two year old son who is my inspiration and motivation for everything. When I think about being in good health, I think about being able to run around with him, climbing with him at the park, and taking him hiking/fishing/camping. Currently I havent done any actual exercise in about 5-6 weeks in preparing for this challenge.

I know that many people who will come to my program probably arent exercising regularly. Thats ok. Its also what I wanted to demonstrate here. Now I dont have the power of a motivated group, like when you are actually in the bootcamp yourself. This will definitely take away from the true power that a group training program such as this has, but nonetheless results are results.

So I hope you join me on the road to great shape and erasing any skepticism. Day 1 of exercise starts tomorrow, in about 5 1/2 hours. Good night.
